The short version: cmmnt Pro is a one-time purchase. No subscription, no accounts, and your license is verified on your own device — it never phones home.

These terms cover purchases of cmmnt Pro made directly from cmmnt.app. The free base cmmnt app is sold through the Mac App Store under Apple's standard licensing terms.
A one-time license to use cmmnt Pro on macOS. Buy once, own it — no subscription, no recurring charges, no account required. Your license is a signed token that your copy of cmmnt Pro verifies on your own device.
The license is for you, or for your organization if bought for business use. Install and use it on the Macs you use. Please don't resell, redistribute, or publicly share your license token, and don't attempt to circumvent, tamper with, or reverse-engineer the licensing. The app itself collects nothing and sends nothing — see the Privacy Policy.
cmmnt Pro offers a free, usage-capped trial so you can evaluate it before paying. The trial unlocks full features up to a local limit, and no payment details are required to start it.
Your purchase includes bug fixes and macOS-compatibility updates so the version you bought keeps working. Support is best-effort by email at hello@cmmnt.app.

cmmnt Pro is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, total liability for any claim relating to the software is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Utah.
